One of the must-go destinations was the Tokyo Skytree. It was the tallest structure in Japan in 2010 and was recently opened in May 2012. We walked from Asakusa to Tokyo Skytree, which was just across the river bank.

When you are in Japan, you should never forget to visit Sanrio Puroland. Besides the Tokyo Disneyland, I visited the Sanrio Puroland. Personally, it was the size of one theme in the Disneyland eg. Toon Town or something. It was not huge and had only two mini rides. The first of the rides was the Sanrio Character Boat Ride. With the 1-day passport, you can take unlimited rides. The ride showcased cinnamonroll and friends in Hello Kitty's land. The recently opened ride was the My Melody Car Ride. It was a superb experience when you love My Melody. There are many eateries in the theme park. It ranges from cafes to food court.

We were in Tokyo Japan for holidays and visited our friends who were residing in Tokyo. My friend has recently given birth to a child and we decided to visit them near their home. We took a one hour and 40 minutes train ride from Shinjuku to another regional hub, Tachikawa. It was a very well-developed area as if you were in Tampines, Singapore. There were many big shopping malls and the famous Showa Memorial Park. The Showa Memorial Park was built to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Emperor Showa's region.

We were visiting Tokyo Japan and stayed at a serviced apartment - Hundred Stay Serviced Apartments & Hotel near Shinjuku, Japan. This accommodation is a mere 15mins away from the Shinjuku Station and there were many food outlets and supermarkets around. It is a very conducive and accessible place.

We were introduced to this restaurant while on the way to watch an NBA match at Oakland. I was told that it was a rather good restaurant. After my friends' recommendation, we decided to give this restaurant a shot. This restaurant is not located near any subway, so you would need a vehicle to take you there.

After spending a week in San Francisco, I realised how time flies and we had to leave the country. During our stay in San Francisco, it was memorable - meeting old friends, visiting new places, and reminiscing old places. Of course, we cannot forget the great food we have tried at San Francisco. When we are waiting for our flight, we stumbled upon a Mexican restaurant called Andalé. It was a simple restaurant with a bar. Passengers can either dine in or have a cold beer.

Panda Express is a huge food chain that sells Chinese food.  Personally, I find that it is more like a economical food joint that sells many different Chinese dishes for customers to choose. Alternatively, it is the Lunch Box at Flushing Queens.

Part of the San Francisco Bay Area, the El Cerrito has a population of 24,000. The city was founded by the refugees from the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. Since then it has a community in the city. University of California Berkeley is also located near El Cerrito (5 miles).

Open as early as 6.30am in the morning, you can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at Cafe Honolulu. Upon my arrival at San Francisco, we headed to Cafe Honoulu which had brought us fond memories of our time in the United States.
