Food court @ Sanrio Puroland, Tokyo

When you are in Japan, you should never forget to visit Sanrio Puroland. Besides the Tokyo Disneyland, I visited the Sanrio Puroland. Personally, it was the size of one theme in the Disneyland eg. Toon Town or something. It was not huge and had only two mini rides. The first of the rides was the Sanrio Character Boat Ride. With the 1-day passport, you can take unlimited rides. The ride showcased cinnamonroll and friends in Hello Kitty's land. The recently opened ride was the My Melody Car Ride. It was a superb experience when you love My Melody. There are many eateries in the theme park. It ranges from cafes to food court.

We headed to the food court for lunch. The service was a little slow when we were queuing in the line. Perhaps, many tourists were too spoil for choice. They took a longer time to decide what to order when served.

We ordered a Hello Kitty Burger. It had a cute Hello Kitty motif embossed on the burger bun. There were bacon and patty with lettuce and mayonnaise. The french fries were crispy and nice. Actually, I love the cute burger bun with the Hello Kitty motif best. Besides that, everything tasted normal. (Food rating: 2.5/5)

I ordered myself a birthday set that cost about JPY1,600. It had a burger sandwich, a pack of fries, a piece of chicken drumstick and a cup of soft drink. That attracted me like a typical tourist was the cute birthday box carrier. Without much thought, I ordered the box set immediately. The food was ordinary. The only memorable thing was the cute Hello Kitty embossed on the burger bun. (Food rating: 2.5/5)

Nothing beats having a dessert after a hearty meal. I ordered the cake with my favourite idol - My Melody. The cake was a strawberry cake. It was a normal cake but somewhat delicious. (Food rating: 2.5/5)
