We were introduced to this restaurant while on the way to watch an NBA match at Oakland. I was told that it was a rather good restaurant. After my friends' recommendation, we decided to give this restaurant a shot. This restaurant is not located near any subway, so you would need a vehicle to take you there.
How do I find the restaurant? I personally find that it was absolutely delicious. Then again, the portions were huge too. Was it worth travelling there for a meal? I would think that it was definitely worth it.
We spent about USD 100 for 6 persons.
When you intend to order food, please do remember that you will be served with appetisers. Therefore, please order your entrees wisely. Otherwise, you will be left with lots of food. I love their appetisers too!! Gosh! I am praising all the time.
Spicy Kimchi pancake was a must when you dine at a Korean restaurant. This kimchi restaurant serves a wonderful kimchi pancake. We could not stop eating the pancake. (Food rating: 3/5)
Dumpling Junggol is beef dumpling with vegetables and noodles cooked in special casserole. When we looked at the menu, we thought that it was a bowl of dumpling soup. Then, when the casserole arrived, we were surprised. It was a huge pot of dumpling soup with a portable burner. It was a huge portion, best for at least four persons to share. However, the dumplings were delicious. I loved the soup too. There were cabbage, Japanese fish cakes and transparency vermicelli. This can be considered as an entree for the group. (Food rating: 3/5)
Cold Buckwheat noodles with spicy sauce was absolutely heavenly. Do not be bothered by its simple presentation. You will definitely be blown away by the delicious taste of the spicy sauce and the buckwheat noodles. (Food rating: 4/5)
