TanYu [探鱼] is one of the popular grilled fish restaurants in Shenzhen. Launched in 2013, it was known as "Shenzhen's most artistic grilled fish restaurant" and became popular overnight. It has foothold in over 70 major cities in China with more than 180 outlets. TanYu opened its first overseas flagship store in Singapore in 2017 and has now 3 outlets - Bugis Junction, Westgate and 313@Somerset. I found out about Zheng's Pork Knuckle (鄭記豬腳飯), whilst gathering information on the net . I was glad that I tried the food as it was one o f the best Taiwanese food I ha d ever enjoyed immensely. The restaurant is located in the vicinity of Ximending (西門町) with Xim en station nearby. From Ximen Station, we got los t many times before we found the the place. It was not diff i cult to find as we got famil iar with the r oad directions. At Zheng's , you will n otice a huge signage of the menu with prices above the s hop. The shop ha d very simple in terior and seats along the cor ridor outs ide . We ordered a co uple of dishes. What I liked about the restau rant was that the owner was very hon est.
