NAUI GAYA serves two famous dishes from the Korean cuisine - Bulgogi and Gopchang, and other Korean specialty dishes. A popular restaurant joints among locals and the store exudes a comfortable and family-like atmosphere. Located within Hyundai Department Store at Trade Centre, the restaurant offers a variety of beef dishes, from BBQ marinated bulgogi beef to beef sukiyaki to beef rib soup. Similar to Seorae BBQ , the Marinated Beef Short Ribs were tender, juicy, and rich in flavour. The taste was heightened when eaten with fresh lettuce leaves and raw green chilli. Food rating: 4/5 (KRW 43,000) Cooked using a Brass Grill and Hotpot Pan, the marinated beef slices was cooked on the grilled and the mushrooms cooked with delicious sukiyaki broth. Grandma's Home or Waipojia (外婆家) , a popular restaurant chain, is commonplace in Hangzhou. Located at many part of Hangzhou, West Lake, this restaurant is definitely worth trying the authentic Hangzhou cuisine. We made a short trip to Hangzhou to revisit the beautiful scenic landscape, West Lake. We had a superb accommodation experience at Hangzhou Plaza Hotel, near Wulin Square district. At 10am, the restaurant welcomed its first customers. However, at 10.30am, the entire restaurant was already full. There were people queuing outside the restaurant, waiting for their turn. We ordered both our favourite and new food items this time round. The Tomato with Egg Soup was a simple home-style soup that had a very nice subtle fragrance. The tomato chunks were sweet and fresh. TanYu [探鱼] is one of the popular grilled fish restaurants in Shenzhen. Launched in 2013, it was known as "Shenzhen's most artistic grilled fish restaurant" and became popular overnight. It has foothold in over 70 major cities in China with more than 180 outlets. TanYu opened its first overseas flagship store in Singapore in 2017 and has now 3 outlets - Bugis Junction, Westgate and 313@Somerset. Because of COVID-19, we did not have our favourite grilled fish place at Shanghai. We found this place alternative to sate our craving. TanYu's bestseller and signature dish is the Chongqing Grilled Fish with Beancurd [重庆豆花烤鱼] . It has raw ingredients from Guizhou mountainous area including the local wrinkled skin peppers, fruit of spicebush, mint, herbs, houttuynia root, etc., making this dish special and delicious.
