NAUI GAYA Korean Restaurant, Seoul, South Korea

NAUI GAYA serves two famous dishes from the Korean cuisine - Bulgogi and Gopchang, and other Korean specialty dishes. A popular restaurant joints among locals and the store exudes a comfortable and family-like atmosphere.

Located within Hyundai Department Store at Trade Centre, the restaurant offers a variety of beef dishes, from BBQ marinated bulgogi beef to beef sukiyaki to beef rib soup.

Similar to Seorae BBQ, the Marinated Beef Short Ribs were tender, juicy, and rich in flavour. The taste was heightened when eaten with fresh lettuce leaves and raw green chilli. Food rating: 4/5  (KRW 43,000)

Cooked using a Brass Grill and Hotpot Pan, the marinated beef slices was cooked on the grilled and the mushrooms cooked with delicious sukiyaki broth. The broth tasted like the Japanese sukiyaki - rich, sweet with nice beef and mushroom flavour. Food rating: 4/5 (KRW 37,000)

The Galbitang (갈비탕) or Short Beef Rib Soup is a clear soup made with beef short ribs and clear vermicelli. The soup is hearty, nourishing and it warmed the cockles of my heart. Add the steamed rice into the soup bowl and enjoy the sweet carbs with the awesome soup to end the meal. Food rating: 4.5/5 (KRW 18,000)

Total damages: KRW184,000.
