Perch Coffee @ Baiyun International Airport, Guangzhou

Whilst waiting for our flight, we stopped at Perch Coffee for dinner. We were greeted by multi-lingustic waitresses.  I was amazed how they were well versed in English, Japanese, Korean and more, I reckon.
However, they were a little unfriendly and very casual. They spoke openly among themselves. If you know Chinese, you do not need eavesdrop to know what they are chatting about.

Despite the exorbitant prices, the food quality was great. Well, if you are hungry while waiting for a place, why not drop by the coffee cafe for a meal.

Meat Dumpling (猪肉水饺) at RMB78 was served first. It blew me away. It brought back fond memories from United States. In the US, there is a popular meat dumpling frozen food called Jia Jia (嘉嘉). The texture and meat filling tasted so much like the frozen food. I fell in love with it instantaneously. (Food Rating: 4/5)

Zha Jiang La Mian was fantastic. At first I was skeptical on the quality of food.  But I must applaud to the chef who cooked this dish splendidly. The noodles were cooked perfectly with a tint of chewiness. The meat sauce was great too. (Food Rating: 3/5)

The Beef Brisket Noodle Soup was normal. I think the Zha Jiang La Mian has won. The bland broth and normal beef brisket did not swoon me away.  (Food Rating: 2.5/5)
