Cheesecake Factory, Boston, United States

Located at The Shops at Prudential Center in downtown Boston, Cheesecake Factory started from a humble cheesecake shop in Detroit in 1940s. Everyone loved its original Cheesecake recipe. 30 years later, the success of Cheesecake Factory has grown in more than 170 locations in the United States.

After my maiden trip to Cheesecake Factory at Palo Alto, California, I became a loyal fan of the restaurant. It was a pity that I did not take any pictures of the food I tried for the first time.

Recently, I returned to the United States for holidays and visited the shop again with my friends. With their recommendations, I ordered the Thai Lettuce Wraps, Fish and Chips, Salad and strawberry cheesecake.

Thai Lettuce Wraps was one of the best dishes and my favourites  at Cheesecake Factory. It was not only a great appetizer but also a great meal. You could have a healthy meal with next-to-zero carbohydrates. Place a piece of tender grilled chicken breast, cucumber, carrot strips, beans sprout on top of the lettuce wrap. To end, drizzle the any one of the sauces before wrapping it up and put into your mouth. I love the peanut sauce the best. This dish was always in on my table each time I dined at the restaurant. Fish and Chips was relatively normal like a dish that would not go wrong if you dined at a new restaurant for the first time. The fish fillets were fresh and the batter thin. What I liked most of this dish was the coleslaw that was flavourful and addicting. The fries tasted very much like wedges, lightly salted. (Food rating: 4/5)

The Club was also another safe dish. The taste was normal that you could also get it from Subway. The salad was freshly prepared. (Food rating: 3/5)

What I loved most was the fresh and warm bread loaves. The breads were soft and fluffy that I could not stop eating. You must definitely try this. (Food rating: 5/5)

Fresh strawberry cheesecake was one of my favourites. The Original cheesecake topped with glazed strawberries and whipped cream was superbly divine. Texturally, it was rich and yet not overwhelming. To me, it was usually the original flavour would determine how great the cake was. (Food rating: 5/5)
