Home Delivery - Boon Pisang Goreng - Local Snacks Delights, Singapore

I found this food outlet "Boon Pisang Goreng" listed in one of the popular food delivery app. At first, I was very concerned on the food quality using home delivery. To my surprise, the food was piping hot and crispy when I received the items at least 30 mins later.

After trying at least three different items, my favourites remain the pisang goreng (banana fritters) and the fried "nian gao". The bananas were very slow and sweet and the batter was dry and crispy. You can hear crackling sounds as you bite the batter.

"Nian gao", sometimes translated as year cake or Chinese New Year's cake, is prepared from glutinous rice flour and consumed in Chinese cuisine. The soft and chewy nian gao  coated with light crispy batter and fried to perfection was simply delightful.

The greedy me bought 5 pieces each per item for $16.00 (excluding delivery fee).
