Serving Thai Boat Noodles in Singapore - Kinmoo

Kinmoo, a Thai noodle house, was located at the end of Tan Quee Lan Street. Highly recommended by various food sites, blogs and friends, my friends and I decided to try this popular dining place.

Wanton Noodle Dry or Baamee Keow Haeng Moo Dang, priced at $6.90, was very similar to our local wanton noodles. The noodles were beautiful and had a nice 'springy' texture. The noddles were drizzled with crispy pork lard and fried shallots. The dish was simple but yet, it exuded an nostalgic feeling when you ate the noodles. (Food rating: 3/5)

Braised Pork Knuckle, at $12.80, tasted super old school. The pork kunckles were cooked in the aromatic braised broth for long hours that the meat literally melted in the mouth. The braised had a nice fragrance from spices like cinnamon and star anise. Ladies can enjoy the collagen from the pork and the lean meat at the same time. (Food rating: 4/5)

At $8.90, you can order a serving of Pork Neck Spicy Salad. The texture from the pork neck was almost similar to the pork cheeks from the Iberico pig. The meat was tender and moist. The salad looked very simple and plain but salad sauce was powerful and addictive - Spicy and Sour at the same time. (Food rating: 4/5)
