Enclave in the busy Central Business District (CBD) stood a food centre that attracts both locals and foreigners for a good meal. In places like in the CBD, you can also find delicious and affordable food items.
My friends and I had lunch at the Lau Pat Sat Festival Market. At Lau Pat Sat, you will find a wide variety of different cuisines ranging from Singaporean food to other cuisines such as Turkish, Indian, Japanese, Korean and many more. You have so many choices that you can just go around for weeks just to try each and every stall.
I tried Vietnamese food today. At SGD6, I was served a rather big bowl of beef noodles. The beef broth was clear and light, yet flavourful. The noodles were chewy and beef slices tender. What I loved most of about this bowl of noodles was the huge portion of vegetables, especially bean sprouts. I loved to eat the noodles with the crunchy sprouts and delicious broth together.
