Enclave in the Central Business District - Raffles Place, you will find a Korean Restaurant - The Palace Korean Restaurant at the basement of Chevron House. I used to dine that restaurant a couple of years ago. Because it was out of the way, I did not go there until recently.
I had a strong craving for Zhajiangmian (炸酱面) or fried sauce noodles. I was happy when I saw The Palace Korean Restaurant. It was as if the signage was beckoning me to enter the restaurant. And I did. I ordered myself a serving of Zhajiangmian to take away. I could not remember how much I paid for it but I think it was near SGD10. I was disappointed when I ate the noodles. The noodles were definitely instant noodles and they were soggy by the time I got home. As for the sauce, it was merely so-so. Nothing to rave about. (Food rating: 2.5/5)
