If you have tried Glacé cakes and pastries, you may also want to try the Dulcet & Studio. Located at Liang Court Shopping Centre, this cosy cafe gives patrons a place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, where they can enjoy the food and company at the same time.
Part of the Tampopo Group, Dulcet & Studio is well received by many patrons. There are always people crowding at the cafe, ordering takeaways - desserts. A friend recently introduced me to Dulcet & Studio and I came to like this place. I came with my family again and bought a variety to desserts to try.
The cheesecake was very rich in taste. I suggest sharing with someone as you will get sick of it pretty quickly. Otherwise, it was a very nice dessert cake. (Food rating: 3/5)
Chocolate Eclair (SGD5.14) topped with thick chocolate fudge was delicious. The soft puff with light chocolate cream was delicious. The taste was just nice, not too strong and too sweet. (Food rating: 4/5)
Chocolate Chiffon Cake (SGD$6.54) was extremely enjoyable. The soft and chocolate-rich chiffon cake was absolutely delicious. The chocolate cream was light and delicious. However, I preferred the cake with lesser cream. (Food rating: 4/5)
Strawberry Shortcake (SGD6.54) was very similar to the one at Glacé. The sponge cake was soft and fluffy. The strawberries and cream were freshly prepared. (Food rating: 4/5)
Cream Puff (SGD2.43) tasted very similar to Bread Papa. The crust was crispy and sweet and the custard was freshly prepared. (Food rating: 4/5)
Pudding Set (SGD11.96). We bought two sets of Coffee Pudding and Custard Pudding. Both have a smooth texture but the flavour was decent only. There was nothing to rave about - A simple decent custard pudding that satisfy your cravings.
