Peking Duck Steamed Bun@Corner 28, Flushing, New York, United States (Food rating: 3/5)

Formerly located at the corner of 40th Ave-Main Street in Flushing, Corner 28 is now located at 40-28 Main Street, a few units from Main Street along 40th Avenue. Corner 28 (旺角) serves a wide variety of foods. At the ground level, there were Bubble Tea, Pancakes, BBQ meat, economical rice and snacks like Peking Duck Steamed Bun.

Flushing is one of the three Chinatowns in New York City. In recent years, Flushing Chinatown has developed rapidly and there are more

I came to Corner 28 for its cheap and delicious Peking Duck Steamed Buns. Selling at USD1per piece, you could eat as much as you want. Peking Duck is prized for its thin and crisp skin. It was wrapped with shredded scallion and cucumber, drizzled with sweet sauce and finally wrapped between hot steamed bun. It was not nothing fanciful but you can get to eat this delicacy at affordable price.

I bought five pieces of the steamed bun. The duck skin was crispy and thin and the cucumber and scallion strips were fresh. The sweet sauce was added at the right amount where you would not find it overwhelming after a while.

I am definitely coming back for more.
