Paradise Inn @ Marina Bay Link Mall, Singapore

I feel especially happy whenever I had good food. This is especially so when I dine at Paradise Inn. In most of my dining experience with group restaurants, their quality at times may differ.

However, I find that the quality of food under Paradise Group of Restaurants is nevertheless consistent whichever restaurant you go. I have been to the Canton Paradise, a Cantonese cuisine restaurant and Paradise Pavilion, a luxury restaurant at Marina Bay Financial Centre Tower 3. None of them disappoints me and my guests.

This is my umpteenth time at Paradise Inn and I decided to order something different today.

I ordered a plate of Prawn Hor Fun (滑蛋海鲜河粉) (above). I loved the lightly charred flat noodles cooked in high heat. You could taste the nice charred aroma from the heated wok. The noodles were chewy. The eggs were generous that added colour and taste in the thick sauce. The seafood like prawns and squid were extremely fresh and I could taste its sweetness. This plate of hor fun is best shared as the portion is huge. (Food rating: 4/5)

Yangzhou Fried Rice (杨州炒饭), one of my all-time favourites, was awesome at Paradise Inn. The texture of the rice was chewy and the ingredients like bbq pork, prawns and egg were generous. The portion was huge and was best shared. (Food rating: 4/5)

Garlic cucumbers (蒜香拍青瓜) was a great appetiser to start your meal. The crunchy cucumber cubes added that extra oomph to the dish. The chopped garlic, though aplenty, was subtle and fragrant. (Food rating: 4/5)
