We started our day with a hearty breakfast at Nishishinjuku near Shinjuku Station. Mos Burger is a commonplace back home and it is also a familiar sight in Tokyo Japan. You can see Mos Burger almost everywhere you go.
We ordered two different breakfast sets and a cup of hot lemon tea. The total damage was JPY790. Despite Mos Burger being a fast food joint, I was amazed how the restaurant put customers before them. Everything was thoughtful and had the customers in mind.
Although I have yet tried the breakfast set at home, I could love to try and see if the service and its small touches are the same as in Tokyo.
The cup of hot lemon tea (see photo above) was served first while we waited for the rest of our breakfast served. The small saucer was initially a lid for the hot water before I added the tea bag and lemon into the cup. There was also a toothpick to pick the tea bag and metal tea spoon as stirrer. The hot tea kept me warm on a cold winter morning and warmed my heart.
Next, Rice Burger with Pork and Omelette and miso soup set arrived. The rice was soft and delicious when we ate it on its own. The burger was nicely wrapped which made us early to eat. The miso soup was surprisingly delicious. I had underestimated the quality of the soup. The soup tasted the same as from the restaurants and I drank the entire soup in one go. (Food rating: 3/5)
Finally the cheese and sausage sandwich was served. What I liked about the sandwich was the packaging. All we need to rip the top half of the wrapper and then use the other half to hold the burger. It was so easy to eat. As for the burger, it was a simple muffin bun with sausage patty and cheese. This was already enough to fill my stomach. (Food rating: 3/5)
