Davis Square is one of the vibrant commercial, nightlife, retail and dining districts. Located two stops away from Harvard, it is accessible along the red subway line. Tufts University is also located at Davis Square.
While visiting a friend residing at Somerville, I met up with her at Davis Square and had lunch at Mike's Food and Spirits. At Mike's Food and Spirits, it was strategically located the cross
junction near Davis Square subway station. It was a very good location
to dine and enjoy people watching.
The dining experience was fantastic. There were many people patronising the shop, causing a long queue. The food was also affordable and sumptuous. If you are looking for a hearty Italian meal, why not stop at Mike's?
We ordered a simple pasta with tomato sauce as my girlfriend
could not take cheese. This simple pasta entree was the only dish she
could eat. When the food arrived, we were surprised by the huge portion.
Suggestion: It is highly recommended to share with another if you are a
small eater. (Food rating: 2.5/5)
My girlfriend and I ordered a small serving of Buffalo Wings (see photo above).
There were ten pieces of chicken wings which were too many of us. The
buffalo wings were rich in sauce and spicy. The sides also came with
celery sticks with dipping sauce. (Food rating: 2.5/5)
