L'OCCITANE Cafe, Tokyo, Japan

Where to rest your tired feet while shopping at Shibuya? At L'OCCITANE Cafe of course. Cafe by L'OCCITANE only exists in Tokyo Japan and there are two outlets in Shibuya and Ikebukuro.

We explored Shibuya and were in desperate need to find a place to rest our tired feet. At that moment, L'OCCITANE Cafe was screaming at us. We sat near the window at the second floor. We enjoyed people-watching while resting our tired feet.

The total damages were about JPY4,000.

We ordered a L'OCCITANE Dessert Medley (see photo above) that served four mini cakes.

Chocolate Creme Brulee, a burnt chocolate cream dessert, was one of the dessert samplers. It tasted normal and the chocolate cream was less aromatic and fragrant. Somehow, it failed to make people feel happy. (Food rating: 2.5/5)

Fruit cake slice was less par too. I expected the cakes from Japan would be delicious like I ate from Glace. However, it failed to surprise me. (Food rating: 2.5/5)

Original Creme Brulee was ordinary. Maybe we did not dine at the right dessert cafe or our expectations were too high. (Food rating: 2.5/5)

The sweet Strawberry Tart was another winner in the dessert platter. I loved the tart crust and the sweet strawberry halves. The custard cream was delicious.

Rose Tea with Strawberry Sherbet (JPY1,000) was a women's favourite. I loved how the rose tea blended so nicely with the strawberry sherbet. Initially, I did not mix them, they had two different tastes. When blended, it became a wonderful beverage that you just cannot stop drinking. (Food rating: 3/5)

Orange Iced Tea (JPY950) was sweet and refreshing. The orange slices were sweet and juicy. (Food rating: 3/5)
