Ah Seng Bak Kut Teh has a 44 years history. This teochew style is lighter in colour and comes with a awesome peppery taste. Ah Seng Bak Kut Teh is said to be using only fresh premium pork ribs, served in a rich pork bone broth.

The entire meal for three cost about $22. Very affordable.



Sliced Pork Soup (肉骨茶) was absolutely great. For those who dislike eating meat with bones, this is the best choice. The meat was so tender and easy to eat. (Food Rating: 3.5/5)



Pork Trotters (卤猪脚) were tender and lean. It was surprising that the meat was lean. The black sauce was rich and delicious. It was exceptionally nice when mixed with white rice. (Food Rating: 2.5/5)



Bak Kut Teh (肉骨茶) has a rich pork broth with peppery taste. the meat was very tender. Dipped with red chilli in dark black sauce, the meat was superb! (Food Rating: 3/5)



Vegetables in Oyster Sauce (油菜) was normal. The vegetables were fresh and it was delicious. (Food Rating: 2..5/5)



Braised Peanuts (花生) is always my favourite. I will never forget to order this side dish whenever I eat Bak Kut Teh. This was great too. (Food Rating: 3/5)



Fried Fritters (油条) is a must. The fried fritters are to be soaked into the soup and eaten like that. The rich peppery soup was delicious! (Food Rating: 2.5/5)
