I am always a huge buff for Korean food and came to Bibigo at Raffles City Shopping Centre for dinner. Bibigo is a global Korean food chain where friends, families and colleagues can enjoy healthy Korean cuisine that lifts their spirits. The restaurant chain has outlets globally like United States, Japan, China and Indonesia, including Singapore.
Hot Stone Bibimbap is mixed rice with assorted vegetables and a topping of your choice served in a sizzling hot stone bowl. We ordered this set and were surprised that the red spicy sauce was missing. There was a cup of brown sauce and we poured into the bowl. Interestingly, the bibimbap tasted light and delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the rice were chewy too. (Food Rating: 3.5/5)
Spicy Soft Stew (Pork) is served with spicy soft tofu stew with pork in a sizzling hot stone pot. I liked the hot stew and it tasted best with the pearly white rice. It tasted more like hot pepper stew than kim chi stew. So it was just spicy. (Food Rating: 2.5/5)
Sweet and Spicy Rice Cakes is served with pan-fried rice cake and yam tossed in sweet and spicy Kohot Sauce. The chewiness of the soft rice cakes just keeps you going. You cannot stop picking more from the plate. However, it was really spicy. The spiciness somehow kept me going. I could not stop eating. (Food Rating: 4/5)
