Parklane Zha Yun Tun Mee House (百灵云吞美食屋) is unassumingly regarded as one of the best Wanton Noodles in town. Located at Sunshine Plaza adjacent to Bencoolen Street and Prinsep Link, the noodle house serves its specialty - fried wanton and wanton noodles. 

I was at the vicinity and ordered myself a plate of fried wanton noodle. Wanton noodles has been a part of my life. I will always order a plate of wanton noodles whenever I am back from overseas. However, I love to eat the 古早 traditional style of wanton noodles using tomato sauce. Many stalls nowadays cook the Malaysian or Hong Kong style using dark soya sauce or gravy. 

If you know any stalls that sells wanton noodles cooked in the traditional style, please drop me a note. I miss those noodles.

Deep-fried wanton with noodles serves with egg noodles, barbeque pork, green vegetables and deep-fried wantons. When I first ate the noodles about three years ago, it was delicious. I always come back to eat the noodles. However, when I came back a couple of day ago, I was disappointed. I came back with my friends again and they also shared that their quality had dropped. I could not make out what was missing from the noodles. Was it the sauce? Or the noodles? Something was definitely missing. Well, I may not come back here for noodles any time soon.
