Pizzeria Mozza @ Marina Bay Sands, Singapore (Food rating: 3/5)

A celebrated Pizzeria, Pizzera Mozza is the brainchild of Nancy Silverton, Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich. The restaurant is widely recognised as one of the best pizzerias in the United States and is known for its California ingredients and the crust. It was the first branch outside the United States.

I had a strong craving for pizza one evening. When I met him at Marina Bay Sands for dinner, he brought me to an Italian restaurant, Pizzeria Mozza.

We were greeted by their friendly service staff. We ordered two appetisers and a pizza - Calamri la forno with fragioli and oregano; salami Toscana; and bacon, salami, fennel sausage, pancetta, tomato and mozzarella.

The Calamri was superbly delicious. The Calamri was very well cooked. It is not chewy or anything.

The salami was as good. However, it would be better to eat with bread. Eating on its own is a bit too salty for me.

The pizza was another delicious. The crust was crispy and thin. The combination of bacon, fennel sausage and salami is too salty for me. However, it was just right for my partner.
