When you are visiting Qingyang Temple (青羊宫) and are hungry for food, you can find a good Chinese restaurant that serve authentic Szechuan cuisine called Chen Ma Po Dou Fu (陳麻婆豆腐).
I love the pork dumpling in spicy sauce. I love the the blend.
Lion's head meatballs (狮子头) is a casserole dish that has huge meatballs stewed with lettuce. Although the meatball is huge, the meat was deliciously good. The meat texture was tender and soft.
When you dine at Chen Ma Po Dou Fu (陈麻婆豆腐), you must order the authentic Szechuan Ma Po Dou Fu (麻婆豆腐). The sauce is spicy but the tofu was very soft. It eats extremely well with white rice.
Always end with a sweet note. We ordered glutinous rice dumplings (汤圆) for dessert.
